DOROTHY is a postdoctoral research programme open to researchers from all disciplines who wish to focus on research into public health crises.

Under the scheme, 25 researchers will be awarded a 3-year postdoctoral fellowship, with a total value of €5.5 million.

Given the programme’s focus on public health crises, and the public debate surrounding it, it is crucial that the population at large receives high-quality information in accessible language, to counter unscientific viral news and ultimately foster societal resilience.
